Yakov Genis
Ph. Doctor
Dr. Yakov Genis, Borough of Manhattan Community
College City University of New York. His researches are connected
with analytical methods of reliability designing of complex control
computer systems and especially with developing asymptotic methods
of reliability assessment of system with quick restoration. Dr.
Genis developed the methodology of reliability and safety
assessment. It was used for reliability and safety designing of more
then thirty five plants including nuclear power plants,
thermoelectric power stations, different plants of chemistry, oil &
gas etc.
Dr. Genis published about
a hundred articles and books including two publications
in 2006 in Journal of International
Group on Reliability, Reliability: Theory & Applications affiliated
with Gnedenko Forum. He has done a presentation in MMR 2004 and MMR
2007. Current research interest is Reliability, Safety, and Risk
Assessment.
