  • Professor at the Department of Mathematical Statistics, University of the Free State, Republic of South Africa since July 1998.

  • Researcher, Senior Researcher, Principle Researcher at St.-Petersburg Elektropribor Institute (1971-1998), Russia.

  • Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics, Leningrad Technological Institute, 1980-1986 (part time).

  • Visiting researcher-consultant at the Institute for Maritime Technology, Republic of South Africa, August-December 1996, October-December 1997.
