Alexander Bochkov graduated "Astronautics and unmanned aircraft" faculty
of the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) in 1994. Diploma qualification:
Systems Engineering, a specialty: the Life Support Systems, Rescue and
Protection of Aircraft. After graduation (from 1994 to 2006) he worked
as a researcher at the Scientific-Technological Complex System Analysis,
Russian Research Center "Kurchatov Institute". In 2000 he defended
dissertation for degree of Ph.D. (candidate of technical sciences).
Participated in many Russian and International conferences and
scientific schools (including - International Workshop on Natural
Disasters & Emergency Management, September 22-24, 2007, Beijing, China,
and a scientific seminar CREATE - VNIIGAZ, Los Angeles (USA ), March
2007), an international symposium on the use of the analytic hierarchy
process (AHP) when making complex decisions (ISAHP 2009), University of
Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania, USA).
Íå
Published in Russian and foreign journal of more than 50 scientific
papers and 1 monograph.
A. Bochkov, together with a recognized expert in the field of
reliability theory, analysis and risk management, Igor Ushakov, created
in 2005, an online internet-forum (www.gnedenko.net), dedicated to
the memory of Academician Boris Vladimirovich Gnedenko. Currently, he
serves as scientific secretary of the Gnedenko-Forum. The Gnedenko-Forum
brings together more than 500 leading experts on reliability theory and
risk analysis of the 50 countries as a matter of fact discussion
platform for a wide professional discussion of topical scientific
problems of analysis and risk management. Since 2006, the Gnedenko-Forum
released e-journal «Reliability: Theory and Practice» (ISSN 1932-2321)
intervals 4 issues per year.
